ENGLAND

ALRIGHT, MATE?

Most venturing off to Britain plan to visit London, a city with over 2000 years of rich history, a royal family, 170 museums and an incredible food scene. It’s also a city where you can get stuck in shitty pubs and hop-on-hop-off buses and we don’t want that for you either, honey.

Connect with one of our fabulous England Tastemakers to get local expertise when planning your trip and see Britain the right way.

Cherrio, then!

  • EXPERTISE | London, Antiques + Fine Dining

PROFILE | Piper is a seasoned traveler, having explored six continents before the age of 25. As an Executive in the Ad Tech industry, she was asked to relocate to London from Los Angeles, setting her and her husband off on a never-ending adventure to explore all that London, the United Kingdom and Europe abroad has to offer.

Piper loves to design specialized itineraries for friends and family who come to visit. A creative and fun spirit, she believes a mix of delicious local foods, exquisite design, live music, beautiful scenery and inquisitive conversations make a trip unforgettable. Her passion for history and art means she's visited every museum and gallery imaginable – but she ensures the day is well-balanced with a bottle of white wine at lunch, indulgent shopping and (always) antique treasure hunting.

For Piper, the ultimate goal of any holiday is to change the way she perceives the world around her.

What's not to miss in London? One has to appreciate the live performance culture of London! Whether that's a visit to a show on the West End (The Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych theatre will get any non-theatre-loving husband on his feet) or a live jazz performance at Ronnie Scott's, the musicians and performers in this city are truly the best in the world.

Favorite place to visit outside of London? The charm and relaxed nature of the Cotswolds is a perfect juxtaposition to the bustling city of London. A highlight for me are the cooking classes at The Thyme Hotel in Lechdale!

  • EXPERTISE | The Cotswolds + Luxury Hospitality

PROFILE | With a background in hospitality, Simona is a travel addict that is always on the move. Whether she’s on a UK staycation, exploring or hiking with her dog or venturing off to a new and exotic country, she loves to plan travel.

Now settled in the charming nature of the Cotswolds, Simona has lived all over England including the gorgeous Lake District, the bustling city of York and the island of Guernsey with its 27 beaches.

You can often find Simona walking and spending time out in nature, enjoying cocktails al fresco in the summer or dining by a warm fireplace in a cosy pub in the winter. She is in love with the Cotswolds and can’t wait to help you fall in love with it too!

What are you top recommendations of things to do while visiting the Cotswolds? There is so much to do and I find that almost everyone enjoys a walk in our beautiful nature and exploring all the little local villages. My personal recommendations are clay shooting, gin tasting, a cocktail-making class and punting.

What is one thing we can’t miss doing on our visit? You must go to one of the farm shops around the Cotswolds to enjoy the local produce and homemade baked cakes and pastries. Let me know if you want to find out which one is David Beckham’s favourite!
